2. Samuel 16-24

These 8 Books of 2 Samuel are among the most gruesome in the bible. It clearly is a father son relationship, with great drama, pain, death and suffering. The father is pulling no punches with his son David whom He has made king over His chosen people. David pays a heavy, excruciating price for his wrong choices, in front of his God and father in heaven. But David through all his adversity goes before his heavenly father and confesses his sin before Him. We might ask if our God and father is as hard on us as he was on His servant David? Could we stand in David’s shoes and take the correction that he did? Or should we be great full he is not testing us with the same measure he is David! To whom much is given much is required, yet our God and father will not test us beyond our capabilities. Below I quoted Mr Malms shining light post today and ask you to read through these same chapters and collect the $10,000 dollar reward if you can find Jesus in any of these Samuel scriptures! I would suggest to you that you will find a father a God and a personal relationship with deep bonds between David and the Most High God alone 2.Sam.22:14 The Lord(3068) thundered down from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice.(one voice)

All of this was the fulfillment of the prophecy of Christ by Nathan, and was the punishment of David for his sins.  Jesus Christ was allowing David to experience a lesson that he would never forget; so that he would never again depart from the word of God for all eternity. We are all being taught a lesson of loyalty to God, to prepare us for a righteous kingship, if we do learn the lesson of absolute and total loyalty to God ,and to zealously learn and to keep the whole word of God; regardless of the trials or temptations to do otherwise!

Does this above have one bible scripture to support its narrative? Jesus Christ was allowing his father David to experience a Lesson? Where does a father allow his son to teach him a lesson? Ps.95:3 For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all god’s. Ps. 82:6 I said, You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High. Ps.83:18 That men may know that You, whose name alone is the LORD, Are the Most High over all the earth. Acts.16:17 These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.(Through Jesus Christ). Jesus is the way back to God.2.Tim.2:5 For there is One God and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.  I.Tim 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen Heb. 6:13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no one greater, He swore by HIMSELF. I Tim.6:15 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen, or can see to whom be honor and everlasting power. Brethren these are the words of the father describing himself as God alone…
