The Dome on the Rock!

Seeing for the first time this dome on the temple mount where Solomon had erected a temple for the One God of Israel is nothing short of amazing. People come from all over the world to see the historic sites and the art work and the remnant of original structures and the religious undertones of Trinity of religions claiming it as their own. After only being able to get up on the mount but not up close and personal to the dome where I’ve read that on the structure inside and out is a statement to the effect that Allah is god and he has no son. Which denies that Jesus is the son of our God and father, which is the core of the Christian faith. As I have had time and interest in the history of the sites around Jerusalem I have been studying Rev.17:10 trying to understand who the “One is Yet to Come! As we know Daniel  has much to say about the beast and the end time. It appears that Jerusalem was conquered by the Muslims in 639 by Kalifah Omar and the Dome was erected in 688. What I discovered next was a website called

Next let’s try a verse that regards Gentiles in prophecy for a period of 42 “months” in prophecy.
There are 365.24 days in our modern solar year, or John’s 1st century Julian (365.25) year, divided by 12 months = 30.44 average days in a month:

4.  Revelation 11:2: But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months.

The city of Jerusalem was under the foot of, or controlled by, Gentiles until the Israelis took back the holy city in 1967.  42 months x 30.44 days = 1278.5 days (as years). Subtracting this from 1967 we arrive at 688.5.  Once again, the founding year of the Dome of the Rock.

It wasn’t until after the events and the years of 1948 and 1967 had come to pass that we could understand the textual and mathematical solutions to these two simple problems.
I recommend reading the whole article to get a complete understanding of the Abomination of Desolation spoken in the book of Daniel. I never understood it was something that had been going since the building of the Dome on the temple mount. It is amazing how the bible keeps yielding year in and year out. Knowledge is so much increased that one can hardly find enough time to follow the leads one reads that leads him to the next nugget. I hope this is a rewarding Feast on Unleavened Bread it surely is a blessing to be here in Jerusalem and seeing it first hand. God Bless

  1. Ken says:

One simple problem. The Dome of the Rock is STILL THERE.

    • When Jehovah is obeyed and his Laws are kept Israel has no worries. When Israel is not following Jehovah then his enemies are always at his doorstep.

      • Absolutely, that is why Israel has so much persecution it will not obey The father or acknowledge his son yet. but there is a day coming when the father will bring back the lost 10 tribes and restore Israel and they shall be his people and the father shall be there God.

  2. Is Jehovah unhappy with one of his 12 tribes Judea, or all twelve ?
