25:5 They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD (Strongs 3068 Yehovah the father)hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever: 25:6 And go not after other “gods” (This means anyone other than the father is another god.) [idols of men and corporations] to serve them, and to worship [obey] them, and provoke “Me” (Singular pronoun pointing back to the above LORD.) not to anger with the works of your hands [our sinful deeds]; and “I” (Again the singular pronoun identified the one God and father of scripture.) will do you no hurt.7 Yet you have not listened to “Me”, says the LORD,(strongs 3068) that you might provoke “Me” (singular pronoun not us ) to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.
If every time we read scripture we keep in the fore front of our mind who is speaking we will see that there is only one God the father and no others, not one. Is. 44:6 Deut. 4:35+39 Is 43:11
