James Malm, author and COG offshoot , calls UCG shift on the nature of God as Heresy! This sounds like the liberal news and Democratic party attacking the person or group because they can’t argue their point credibly there facts are opinion and in Malms case not scriptural! Malm writes what one would call “Gods great deception to man“

First assumption that god 2 was the creator when clearly Jesus says in Mark 10:6 that the father created them male and female. Second assumption is that god 2 a spirit being gave up being god! This kind of thinking comes from choosing 1 of many interpretations of Phil.2:6 which have been covered on this blog. Critical thinking has to consider this telling scripture in I Cor. about the spirit being and the physical being I Cor.15:44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.
We must consider at least two things from the above! First if Jesus was a spirit being before a human being, then it would be the spirit first ,followed by the physical, 2. then returning to what he already was spirit. Then we have to ask how is he the first born among many when he was already a spirit being or a god before his human birth which would also lead to the question of whether he really was a human being in the first place.

I guess it really didn’t matter which one became man! I heard and Elder recently say they flipped a coin to decide which one would do the dirty work!
