Shining light blog Author James Malm below. With my commentary in bold.
Begin with prayer and then discuss the Lamb of God slain for sinners planed from the beginning of creation, and the Egyptian Passover in brief.( The Lamb, you and I, sinners, were foreordained before the foundation of the world.) Foreordained and preexistence are two different concepts. Notice Rom.8:29 To Whom He(The father) foreknew, He also predestined. So the father knew us before the world was! Just like Jesus our brother not our God.
1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you. Exactly Just like you and Me, we were manifested in our time.
Rev 13:8 . . . . the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. But it didn’t actually happen until His death on the cross.
Elohim our Mighty Ones(Two Gods) had a tremendous purpose in the creation and no detail was left to chance. It was known and planned from before the creation; that man would have to experience BOTH sides; God’s side and Satan’s side, before man could make an informed decision; and for man to learn by hard experience the terrible evil of Satan’s way.(Agree)
The two members of the God family(Gen.0:1) decided from the very beginning that one of them(That’s Two) had to die for the sins of humanity so(They flipped a coin) that the enormous evil of sin and the tremendous love of THE Gods could be made known to all peoples for all time. (Tragic Greek Philosphey)
To drive that lesson home, Christ (The future son of the Two Gods)called Israel out of the Egypt of sin; out from bondage to the pharaoh god-king of Egypt, as a lesson on how Christ(Christ first did the physical deliverance, then the spiritual deliverance even though he wasn’t known as Christ yet, the son of the two eternal Gods! Plato 3:5) would deliver the Father’s called out; out of bondage to Satan the god-king of this evil society, and out of our bondage to sin.
As Israel was called out of Egypt, many have been called out of the bondage to sin of this world. And as many later sought to go back into bondage and were destroyed in the wilderness; we too must faithfully complete our journey to the Promised land.
Jesus Christ who gave himself for his creation(Plato 3:9) was the true Lamb of God;(Even though he was God) and when we repent and turn away from sin, and continue in DOING the Word and Will of God; The atoning sacrificial blood of Christ will be placed on the doorposts of our hearts; as the blood of lambs was placed on the door posts of Israel in the land of Egypt; and they were not destroyed.
1 Cor 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are [to be free from the leaven of sin] unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
At this point the Hallel of Psalm 113-114 should be read, as it was said by Christ with his disciples, just before the blessing of the unleavened bread and the wine.
Psalm 113 presents the sinner as a barren woman having no fruit; The Eternal (The father who never seized being God that’s why he is eternal) is praised as the Deliverer of the repentant sinner [the woman, the bride] who shall bring forth much fruit as the spiritual bride of Christ.
Praise to God who delivers his faithful. (The eternal God and father promised Abraham that he would make his offspring a great people.)
Psalm 113
1 Praise ye the Lord.(3068 the father) Praise, O ye servants of the Lord,(3068 the father) praise the name of the Lord.(Yehovah the father 3068)
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord(3068 The Eternal, the self existing one, the only being with immortality I Tim 6:15) from this time forth and for evermore. 3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s(Yehovah The father ) name is to be praised.
4 The Lord (The father) is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
5 Who is like unto the Lord our God,(Our father who art in Heaven Hallowed be thy name YHWH.) who dwelleth on high,
6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
7 He(The father) raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8 That He(The Father) may set him with princes, even with the princes of His(The Father) people.
9 He(The Father) maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.(3068 The father)
Psalm 114
Consider this Psalm in its spiritual plane of those called out of spiritual Egypt.
We were lead out of our captivity to the god-king of spiritual Egypt, by the mighty deeds of our God;(And Father) who(Singular) was sacrificed as our Passover; and when the spiritual Passover is applied to us, the Living Waters of the Holy Spirit shall be poured out for us from out of the ROCK: which is Jesus Christ! The Book of Psalms The Schottenstein edition on Ps.114-115 commentary says “The Psalmist Speaks of three kinds of Jews each with a different motive for serving God. Some Jews cling to God simply because they feel that He is their Father and they are His devoted sons.
The Rock of Christ who will soon open up the sea of death for his called out faithful; in whose presence the earth shall tremble and shake!
1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; 2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.
3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. 4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord,(3068 the father) at the presence of the God of Jacob; 8 Which [who] turned the rock into a standing [pool of] water, the flint [ROCK both physical and spiritual], into a fountain of waters.
1 Cor 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. The future promised Messiah followed 1500 years later and would be a rock on which the father would build his church
Then the prophecy of Isaiah 53 should be read with comments:
Isaiah 53
Christ is the mighty right arm of the Father, (NO, Christ sits at the right hand of his God and father, he is the staff that connects the heavenly father to the earthly people the mediator between God and men the man Jesus ITim. 2:5.) who grew up before God. He was and will always be about his Father’s business, totally loyal to his Father. Christ had no earthly grandeur in his physical life: His Glory was spiritual.
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Messiah was to be despised by the worldly minded, who care nothing for the spiritual teachings and commandments of God.
53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Neither the people of Judah, and none of the worldly; comprehended the light that came to them.
53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
The healing spoken of, is the healing of the spirit by HIS atoning sacrifice and the forgiveness of repented sins
53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All people have sinned and are desperately in need of repentance and the application of the atoning sacrifice of Messiah.
53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Messiah did not defend himself before his accusers.
53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
He was scourged in the prison and then crucified. he died oluntarily for his creation, that they might be healed of sin and given eternal life.
53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
He taught the truth of the Father and was buried in a rich man’s grave because he was truly spiritually rich.
53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Messiah was promised a resurrection to eternal life(I thought He already had it, he was just getting it back.) after he has atoned for the repented sins of humanity. Passover is about repentance and a commitment to “go and sin no more” so that the sacrificial atonement for sin, of the blood of the Lamb of Gob may be applied to us.
53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD(3068 to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Messiah rose and is seeing the fruits of his labors and sacrifice, with many repenting and being justified by his sacrifice.
53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the [repentant] transgressors
