Spirit beings live forever. The father didn’t want Adam and Eve to live in sin forever so He took drastic measures to keep them out of the garden near the tree of life, for Satan would probably try to tempt them into eating of the tree and being like him. My point is if Jesus pre-existed, He couldn’t die according to this scripture above… Interesting!!!
