Pentecost Squaw Valley part II

As I reflect back on Pentecost 2014 I can’t help think what a great feast it was. After 30-50 years of keeping the feast days one can remember some Holy day celebrations better that others based on many factors and distractions. When one has the opportunity to be in such a millennial environment it makes a huge impression that stays with one for the rest of there lives, this year 2014 was one of those years places and times with the beauty of the mountains and the warm summer heat the natural outdoor environment complete with water fall and streams, great food and fantastic brethren committed to Gods’ way of life as reflected in his sons desire to serve his God and father. In the near future all mankind will be able to experience the Godly way of life embodied in our future king and high priest who will lead the worship service from Jerusalem from the temple mount where all nations and people will go up to be taught by the high priest the proper worship of the one God and father of all. This is the beginning of eternal life with Christ first and then the first fruits. We that celebrated the feast this June 2014 will be part of the first fruits the first group of human beings changed from physical beings into eternal beings, ponder that for a moment. The only human ever to receive eternal life is Jesus Christ and we are promised the same fate, if we walk according to the spirit. Below David Antion

Transderivational search — interpreting what someone else is saying.  “People don’t like me” and then you agree and give a bunch of specific examples.  Don’t start on your idea of what someone said.  Deal with specific statements, not general. To understand the Bible, we need to understand background and customs. We see the a Bible through our own filters and modern times.  Little children–back in the Bible children were humble and insignificant and now we elevate them. Split Sermon Tony Bosserman Acts 2:1-8Chapter 2The Coming of the Holy Spirit When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven. And at this sound the multitude came together, and they were bewildered, because each one was hearing them speak in his own language. And they were amazed and astonished, saying, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each of us in his own native language? Several firsts took place: 1). The language barrier was broken for the first time in human history.  It was done in the hearing vs. the speaking so that everyone could hear the gospel message. Genesis 11:1-7Chapter 11The Tower of Babel Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. And as people migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth.” And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built. And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another’s speech.” Corruption spreads through language. Acts 2:14-18Peter’s Sermon at Pentecost But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them:“Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words. For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: “‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,and your young men shall see visions,and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servantsin those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. 2). First time the Holy Spirit was poured out in mass and setting people free. Numbers 11:16-17Elders Appointed to Aid Moses Then the Lord said to Moses, “Gather for me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them, and bring them to the tent of meeting, and let them take their stand there with you. And I will come down and talk with you there. And I will take some of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them, and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you may not bear it yourself alone. Numbers 11:24-25So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord. And he gathered seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tent. Then the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke to him, and took some of the Spirit that was on him and put it on the seventy elders. And as soon as the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied. But they did not continue doing it. Moses and the 70 elders had the Holy Spirit but the rest of the Israelites did not. Romans 7:19-25For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin. Romans 8:1-5Chapter 8Life in the Spirit There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. Focus on holiness and nurturing. John 14:23Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. James 1:27Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. 3). Prejudice was overcome.  Barriers between people were removed. All men and women regardless of their status had access to God. Galatians 3:26-29for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise. Christianity is the only religion that teaches you to live your enemies. Split Sermon David Antion Fruit of the vine part 2 Colossians 1:10so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. In every good work — do a good deed every day. Increasing in the knowledge of God. Ephesians 5:7-10Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. John 5:19The Authority of the Son So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise. Philippians 4:13I can do all things through him who strengthens me. John 15:7If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. Deuteronomy 6:6And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. John 8:37I know that you are offspring of Abraham; yet you seek to kill me because my word finds no place in you. Does God’s word have a place in me? Colossians 3:16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Exhorting — walk along side someone to help them (your buddy). 1 John 5:14And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. Must ask according to His will. 1 John 3:22and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. John 15:8By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. Philippians 1:11filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. John 8:31The Truth Will Set You Free So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, John 15:9As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. John 17:23I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. John 17:26I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.” Jude 1:21keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. John 15:10If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. John 14:15Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. John 14:21Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” John 8:29And he who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.” John 4:34Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work. John 15:11These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. 1 John 1:4And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete. John 16:24Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. Romans 15:13May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. 2 John 1:12Final Greetings Though I have much to write to you, I would rather not use paper and ink. Instead I hope to come to you and talk face to face, so that our joy may be complete. John 15:12“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. John 13:34A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 1 Thessalonians 3:12and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you, 2 Thessalonians 1:3Thanksgiving We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

Seminar – Tony Bosserman

Revelation 13:1-7
Chapter 13
The First Beast
And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?”
And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty- two months. It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven. Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation,

Revelation 17:9-11
This calls for a mind with wisdom:the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated; they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction.

Revelation 17:12
And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast.

Psalms 83:1-8
Psalm 83
O God, Do Not Keep Silence
A Song. A Psalm of Asaph.
O God, do not keep silence;
do not hold your peace or be still, O God!
For behold, your enemies make an uproar;
those who hate you have raised their heads.
They lay crafty plans against your people;
they consult together against your treasured ones.
They say, “Come, let us wipe them out as a nation;
let the name of Israel be remembered no more!”
For they conspire with one accord;
against you they make a covenant—
the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
Moab and the Hagrites,
Gebal and Ammon and Amalek,
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Asshur also has joined them;
they are the strong arm of the children of Lot.

Obadiah 1:1-3
Chapter 1
The vision of Obadiah.
Edom Will Be Humbled
Thus says the Lord God concerning Edom:
We have heard a report from the Lord,
and a messenger has been sent among the nations:
“Rise up! Let us rise against her for battle!”
Behold, I will make you small among the nations;
you shall be utterly despised.
The pride of your heart has deceived you,
you who live in the clefts of the rock,
in your lofty dwelling,
who say in your heart,
“Who will bring me down to the ground?”

Obadiah 1:6
How Esau has been pillaged,
his treasures sought out!

Revelation 17:15
And the angel said to me, “The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages.

Revelation 17:1-5
Chapter 17
The Great Prostitute and the Beast
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality, and with the wine of whose sexual immorality the dwellers on earth have become drunk.” And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: “Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth’s abominations.”

Revelation 17:18
And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth.”

Revelation 20:4
Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. Split Sermon Tony Bosserman

Exodus 19:17-19
Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they took their stand at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke because the Lord had descended on it in fire. The smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled greatly. And as the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder.

Numbers 10:10
On the day of your gladness also, and at your appointed feasts and at the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings. They shall be a reminder of you before your God:I am the Lord your God.”

Psalms 81:3
Blow the trumpet at the new moon,
at the full moon, on our feast day.

Leviticus 23:9-17
The Feast of Firstfruits
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest, and he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, so that you may be accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. And on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering to the Lord. And the grain offering with it shall be two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, a food offering to the Lord with a pleasing aroma, and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, a fourth of a hin. And you shall eat neither bread nor grain parched or fresh until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God:it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
The Feast of Weeks
“You shall count seven full weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering. You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath. Then you shall present a grain offering of new grain to the Lord. You shall bring from your dwelling places two loaves of bread to be waved, made of two tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour, and they shall be baked with leaven, as firstfruits to the Lord.

Colossians 2:16-19
Let No One Disqualify You
Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.

Don’t focus on when, but on what.

Daniel 9:24-27
The Seventy Weeks
“Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place. Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty- two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. And after the sixty- two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed. And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

Luke 21:36
But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Part 1 – the fruit of the vine

Isaiah 5:1-7
Chapter 5
The Vineyard of the Lord Destroyed
Let me sing for my beloved
my love song concerning his vineyard:
My beloved had a vineyard
on a very fertile hill.
He dug it and cleared it of stones,
and planted it with choice vines;
he built a watchtower in the midst of it,
and hewed out a wine vat in it;
and he looked for it to yield grapes,
but it yielded wild grapes.
And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem
and men of Judah,
judge between me and my vineyard.
What more was there to do for my vineyard,
that I have not done in it?
When I looked for it to yield grapes,
why did it yield wild grapes?
And now I will tell you
what I will do to my vineyard.
I will remove its hedge,
and it shall be devoured;
I will break down its wall,
and it shall be trampled down.
I will make it a waste;
it shall not be pruned or hoed,
and briers and thorns shall grow up;
I will also command the clouds
that they rain no rain upon it.
For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts
is the house of Israel,
and the men of Judah
are his pleasant planting;
and he looked for justice,
but behold, bloodshed;
for righteousness,
but behold, an outcry!

Jeremiah 12:10
Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard;
they have trampled down my portion;
they have made my pleasant portion
a desolate wilderness.

Isaiah 27:2-3
In that day,
“A pleasant vineyard, sing of it!
I, the Lord, am its keeper;
every moment I water it.
Lest anyone punish it,
I keep it night and day;

Isaiah 60:21
Your people shall all be righteous;
they shall possess the land forever,
the branch of my planting, the work of my hands,
that I might be glorified.

John 15:1-2
Chapter 15
I Am the True Vine
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

Take away–same word means to raise up to a higher place or position.

John 8:59
So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.

Luke 5:24
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” —he said to the man who was paralyzed— “I say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home.”

Philippians 1:9-11
And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

John 15:3-4
Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.

John 15:5
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Galatians 2:19-20
For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Jude 1:20-21
But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self- control; against such things there is no law.

2 John 1:9
Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

1 John 2:6
whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

1 John 2:24-28
Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that he made to us — eternal life.
I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
Children of God
And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.

John 15:5-6
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.

1 Corinthians 12:20
As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.

1 Corinthians 12:27
Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

Romans 12:5
so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Pentecost Squaw Valley 2014

What a great place 80 degrees dry and beautiful! Squaw Valley in summer is an awesome place with Lake Tahoe coming alive with boaters beach goers and bikers. Sabbath service was preceded by a Islamic Beast power seminar presented by Tony Bosserman, and a split sermon from David Antion and Tony Bosserman pastor Church of God 7th day Sacramento California. Pentecost Sunday service was also a preceded by a seminar by David Antion and another split By David and Tony. Each service was less than 2 hours and received very well by the audience.

Seminar – David Antion

Why people misunderstand.

It is impossible NOT to misunderstand some of the time.

We misunderstand because we use words which are inadequate.

It’s cold in here, he was a big guy.  What is cold and what is big?  Everyone has a different idea of cold or big.

We apply our own mental filters to what other people say to us.  They consist of our experiences, knowledge, traumas, hurts, expectations, desires, etc.

How do we minimize misunderstandings?

1). Make sure the message got there.

2). You need a feedback loop.  Clarify — this is what I heard.  Is this what you mean?

You don’t want people to hear a message that you didn’t intend to send.

Acts 2:1-8
Chapter 2
The Coming of the Holy Spirit
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place.

Several firsts took place:

1). The language barrier was broken for the first time in human history.  It was done in the hearing vs. the speaking so that everyone could hear the gospel message.

Genesis 11:1-7
Chapter 11
The Tower of Babel
Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another’s speech.”

Corruption spreads through language.

Acts 2:14-18
Peter’s Sermon at Pentecost
But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them:“Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words. For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel:
“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams;
even on my male servants and female servants
in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.

2). First time the Holy Spirit was poured out in mass and setting people free.

Numbers 11:16-17
Elders Appointed to Aid Moses
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Gather for me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them, and bring them to the tent of meeting, and let them take their stand there with you. And I will come down and talk with you there. And I will take some of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them, and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you may not bear it yourself alone.

Numbers 11:24-25
So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord.

Romans 7:19-25
For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing.

Romans 8:1-5
Chapter 8
Life in the Spirit
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17
Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

Focus on holiness and nurturing.

John 14:23
Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

James 1:27
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

3). Prejudice was overcome.  Barriers between people were removed. All men and women regardless of their status had access to God.

Galatians 3:26-29
for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.

Split Sermon David Antion

Fruit of the vine part 2

Increasing in the knowledge of God.

Exhorting — walk along side someone to help them (your buddy).

1 John 5:14
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.

Must ask according to His will.

1 John 3:22
and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.

John 15:8
By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

Philippians 1:11

And he who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.”

John 4:34
Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.

John 15:11
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

1 John 1:4
And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete.

Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

2 John 1:12
Final Greetings
Though I have much to write to you, I would rather not use paper and ink. Instead I hope to come to you and talk face to face, so that our joy may be complete.

Continued Education

Continued Education

   I had the Pleasure to go to Ambassador Bible  College graduation this last weekend in Cincinnati Ohio home of UCG and see first hand what 8 hours of bible study for 9 months can do for anyone. It was rather pleasant on many levels. As we all look for and chose our different paths of family carrear, the bible is one book and subject that all Christians in one way or another study. This year was one of the most talented classes, the music and musicianship were well worth the 30 hours of drive time. The Worldwide People of God just added another round of ambassadors to the streets. How wonderful it must be for God and his son to look down upon the earth and find young people living Godly life styles in the midst of Gomorrah. They are excited about the words and eager to share the gospel and future hope of all Christians the Kingdom of God on earth with a righteous judge Jesus at the helm. We talk about transforming, imagine a 10 per cent tax no property or sales tax no insurance and no medical expenses! NO corrupt political system, One nation under God with liberty and justice for all. Continued education is required by God! We are commanded to grow in grace and knowledge. As we go forward towards the kingdom of God let us be glad that we can spread the good news and the way to true peace and happiness that has so escaped the history of man.

How many Gods does it take to be One God?

Shining Light blog below with my comments in black bold, This is a long but necessary look at tradition verses the knowledge of Hebrew scripture.

The Plurality of GOD! Is This blasphemy 1. Thou Shall have no other(anyone anything) before ME not Us.

THE PLURALITY OF GOD!    (Be ready to be beheaded by the Islamic beast for having more than one God)

Gen. 1:26  “And God (Elohim, plural) I have talked to Nehemiah Gordon Hebrew University scholar, he has a paper on this verse, I have quoted him several times, I have talk to Orthodox Jews in Miami and Jerusalem and even a messianic Jew in Jerusalem and they confirmed that Elohim in Gen.1 is singular because of the singular adjective and verb. said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:..” It doesn’t say who the father was addressing the seventy elders his council of angels, the Nehemiah Gordon paper covers this Us, as the royal We.  [From the very beginning, Creation is represented as a collaborative effort of two Beings, here speaking as one.]  Gen. 3:22 reflects the same plurality of Beings,  “And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:..” So in the image of God He made them. Singular

Now turn to Isaiah 48:11-12. “For  my own sake, I do it, for how should  my name be profaned? ‘My glory I will  not give to another.(My “singular” glory “possessive” to another “singular” The father is the only true God.) Hearken to ME, O  Jacob, and Israel, whom I called!  I am  He, I am the first, and I am the last.’”  Verses 17-18 show it was YHVH (Absolutely)  . And also in Isaiah 41:4,  “Who has performed and done this,  calling the generations from the beginning?  I, the LORD [YHVH], the first, and with  the last; I am He.” This should end the debate I am He the singular one God and father of all.

For further proof that Jesus the Saviour  is YHVH, see Isaiah 49:7 and  Isaiah 60:16, where He — YHVH — is  the Redeemer and Saviour and also  “the Mighty One of Jacob”  Isaiah 48:17, How did the father save the Israelites in Egypt? through a raised up deliverer, Moses Deut.18:18 If this wasn’t the father talking to Moses then it would have to read and I shall raise myself up to be a prophet like you Moses.

All of these scriptures show that  YHVH is the first and last. Christ is  clearly the YHVH of the Old Testament! Complete nonsense

Thomas also left no doubt, in exclaiming Jesus as his Lord and God. (John 20:28) Jesus is Thomas lord(Adoni) and god, mighty one, again proof Elohim is singular, now you just learned something new. (If he’d been incorrect, wouldn’t Jesus have corrected him?  The account in John was written six decades after the event.  If Thomas had overstated or misstated, wouldn’t John have clarified or qualified the statement during those decades?)  Both before His birth and after His death, Jesus is referred to as God. Jesus is reffered to as god and so are we, god is a title, but there is only One God, supreme eternal being that has immortality. I Tim 6:15-16

Isaiah 9:6 makes a definitive identification, by affirming that one of the names and roles of God’s Son is the Everlasting Father!  “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

No man has seen God [Jesus obviously speaking of God the Father since he himself was saying this] or heard His voice at any time.  “And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.” (Jn.5:37)

At any time?  Then who was the God who walked with Adam and Eve? Glad you asked, The father   Who ate with Abraham before going on toward Sodom? Glad you asked the angel of the lord  Who did Jacob wrestle with all night? Glad you asked the bible gives us all the the answers Ps. (Gen. 32:24-30)  Who was the God that  spoke with Moses face to face? and identified himself as YHVH? Glad you asked the father  (Ex. 33:11)  Who did Moses see in glorified form, even being imbued with a small measure of that radiance himself thereafter? Glad you asked the father(Ex. 34:29)  Who did Moses, Aaron and the seventy elders see and eat before on the mountain? Glad you asked (Ex. 24:9-11)

Not only must we accept that no man can ‘come to’ the Father but through His Son, but we are to have the SAME regard for BOTH the Father and the Son!  John 5:22-25  “Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.”(1st Jn. 2:23)  “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father.  He that honours not the Son honours not the Father which hath sent him.

The word honor or worship means to obey; and we are to worship or obey Christ as our Head, because he is our espoused Husband and Creator; Jesus is not our creator Mark 10:6 Jesus states it was the father who created them male and female. and he is utterly faithful to his Father who may become our Father in Christ. We are also expressly commanded to obey the Father, both by the law and directly by Jesus Christ.

How can we obey BOTH the Father and the Son?  Because they are ONE in total agreement!

1 Cor 11   Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances [of God], as I delivered them to you. But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God [The Father]. It clearly doesn’t say {The Father} that is the Trinitarians adding to scripture! The Head of Christ Is Who? “God” Singular

In keeping with Isaiah 9:6, the ‘Alpha and Omega’  Rev 1:6, 1:11, 22:3; and in Rev 21:6, says  “And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.Even Jesus refers directly to Himself as God!

Here Jesus plainly says that he was from the beginning!  and will exist until the end!  Not that there will be an end, but meaning that he will always exist!

The Alpha and Omega is the one who was alive but died and was made alive again!  (Rev. 1:8, 11 & 18)  The same will become the God (god) of all overcomers, [the Head of the faithful under the Father]  with the Father for all eternity!

Richard Trevor has supplied many of these scriptures below.    Some of these scriptures will require some thought.  For example Zech 14:16 speaks of the nations going up to worship “the King, the Lord of Hosts” at Jerusalem.  Who is the King who will be at Jerusalem? The LORD of Hosts of Israel!  Remember that Isaiah [9:6] called the Messiah the “Mighty God”!!!

1.  There are two Beings at God’s Throne in heaven, That would make two gods, there is  Only one  God on the throne James 2:19 The Demons know they see they are spirit beings and can see the very throne of the Father and tremble.

Ps.110:1 & 5,  Jn.17:5,  Re.3:21,  Mt.22:44,  Ps.2:3,  Jn.8:16,  Ex.34:6,  Gen.15:17,  Heb.4:14

2.  These two share many names in common.

LORD: Ps.110:1 & 5,   Father: Isa.9:6,    Ancient of Days: Dan.7:9, 13 & 22,   God: Heb.1:8 / Ps.45:6-7

3.  That one God Being creating exclusively thru the other.

Jn.1:3 & 10,  Heb1:2 & 11:3,  Eph.3:9,  Gen.1:26

4.  That the second Being pre-existed and was known to man originally before the first Being was.

Jn.1:8,  Jn.6:62,  Eph.4:10,  Jn.6:42

5.  That the second Being came to Earth and revealed the first.

Jn.1:8,  Mt.11:27,  Lk.10:22,

6.  That the first Being was never seen or heard by mankind, they not being able to exist in His presence. So Israel was deceived into believing in one god when there was really two, no wonder they never really believed!

Jn.5:37,  (Ex.24:9-11),  1Jn.4:12,  1 Tim.6:16,  Jn.1:18,  Heb.12:29

7.  Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms all wrote of Jesus. Absolutely he was the promised messiah from the father, as the father told Moses Deut.18:18

Lk.24:44,  Jn.5:39 & 46,  Zech.14:16,  1 Cor.10:4

8.  That the Father the Jews (Israel) knew wasn’t God the Father, he was Jesus the Creator Father. “Right” more deception brethren, are we crazy to think our father would lie to us?

Lk.2:49,  Jn.8:54-55,  Jn.8:41-42,  Jn.16:3

9.  That the Lord which King David’s worshiped in his lifetime was later born into his physical lineage 1000 years in David’s future. Something that was born a begetting Gen.1:18 The Genesis of Jesus, the beginning of Jesus was just that. To be from David’s lineage would mean it can into existence in his mothers womb like you and me. If not then a live being laid dormant for 9 months and wasn’t actually the beginning of Gods’ creation but a already existing being passing thru the womb of his mother as a adopted son of Mary and Joseph with no creating or passing of lineage because it already existed before resting in the womb for nine months. So unlike you or me this Jesus guy was nothing like us in any way other than appearance of a man, but not truly a man but a godman.

Ps.110:1,  Mt.22:45-46,  Lk.1:32

10. That one consistent Divine Being has dealt with humanity and will deal with mankind from creation to the completed spiritual creation.

 Ac.4:12,  Isa.56:15-16,  Zech.14:1-9,  1 Jn.4:14,  Jn.5:22,  Zech.14:16,  Gal.3:20,  1 Tim.2:5,  Heb.1:2

11. That the New Testament presents a repetitive God-Concept called “the Father and the Son’. But you just said that Jesus was a father !

Lk.1:46-47,  1 Cor.8:4-6,  2 Cor.1:2,  Jn.17:3,  Gal.1:1,  Eph.1:2,  1 Jn.2:22,  Eph.4:6, 5:20, 6:23,  Phil.1:2,  Col.1:3,  1 Ths.1:1, 3:11,  2Ths.1:2 & 12,  1 Tim.1:2,  Tit.1:4,  Phlmn.1:3,  Jn.17:3

12. That God engaged in a ‘determinate counsel’ before implementing the Redemptive Process.

Jn.12:48-49,  Phil.2:7,  Ac.2:23

13. That Jesus Christ was really and truly dead and unconscious! Which means he wasn’t God, because God can’t die. Which means he had a end.

Phil.2:8,  Rom.8:11 & 10:9,  1 Cor.15:15,  2 Cor.4:14,  Eph.1:20,  Heb.2:9

14. That the Apostle Paul referred to Christ as ‘God’ and Creator.

1 Cor.8:6,  1 Tim.3:16,  Heb.1:8-9,  Phil.2:11,  Eph.3:9,  (1 Tim.1:17?)

15. That God has a God!  That the ‘Word’, who was with God, was also God. English folly Ps.33:6 explains where the word came from… From the breath of his mouth guess where are word comes from! The word of John 1:1 is and It not a he. William Tyndale bible 1534 available to anyone online.

Heb.1:9,  Jn.1:1,

16. That the second Being is to be worshipped also.

Phil.2:10,  Heb.1:6,  Ps.45:11,  Zech.14:16,  Jn.5:23,  Mt.28:9 & 17,  Rom.14:11,  Eph.3:14

17. That the second Being chose to divest Himself of His Glorified state.  The terms second being, Chose, glorified state and divest, are not in my bible, it is a Trinitarian insert into scripture. Phil. 2:5 that being in the form of God, he made himself of no reputation, but took on the example of a servant

Jn.17:5,  Jn.1:14,  Phil.2:6-9

Phil.3:1-8,  Ac.9:22,  Gal.1:14-16

Rom.9:33,  Ac.24:14,  Mt.23:2-35,  Mk.7:9

22. That Christ was elevated (back) into the “Order of Melchizedek” as Eternal High Priest.

2 Pe.1:4,  Rom.8:17,  Col.1:15,  Phil.3:21,  1 Jn.3:2,  1 Cor.15:49-52,  Jn.1:12

24. That God the Father will co-exist on Earth only after death is expunged in the Lake of Fire. This coexist is not biblical statement

1 Cor.15:27-28,  Re.20:4,  Re.21:1-4,  Re.22:,  2 Pe.3:12,  1 Cor15:26

The word Elohim means Mighty Ones and is a generic term for God, or gods; for any authority. (It is always singular when the verb is singular and the adjective which both are singular in Gen. 1:1 The scholars I talked to confirmed this.)

The word YHVH [The Eternal] refers to both the Father and the Son, for BOTH are Eternal, yet it most explicitly refers to the Creator who was the God of his creation throughout the period from creation, until  he gave up his divinity to be made flesh; and then had his glory returned to him in a resurrection back to spirit by the Father.

Jesus identified himself with his own mouth as the “I AM”; the prophets identified Messiah as “God with us”, and the writers of scripture identified the one who became  flesh as the Creator, the “I AM”,  the God of humanity; along with the Father in heaven! (“ Error he said I am he, the  promised messiah from the one God of the old testament.” Just as he told the Samaritan lady I am he the promised messiah, by the God of our fathers the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob Acts. 2) Wake up brethren

Let us consider the greatness of the sacrifice that was made for our salvation; the death of the very Creator of man and of all things..

This said clearly in English is:  the Eternal our Mighty Ones is One [in unity]  We shall see when we go over the last words of Christ in John that Jesus plainly says that he and the Father are .ONE.  The Shema does not refer to one being; but a fully united family of beings.

The term Elohim means Mighty Ones and refers to all that is called god, and even includes human authorities like rulers and judges.

The Shema differentiates the family of YHVH [the Eternal] from all other Elohim [authorities, lords and masters].  YHVH is the name of a Family of Eternal Beings, a family now made up of two members, and soon to be expanded with vast numbers of more spiritual beings in complete unity with the present Two;  who will receive the gift of eternal life!

The Jews and the Jewish scholars along with many others would never render the Hebrew biblical words to the meaning above…I’ve take the the time to ask and to read the Hebrew words, shame on us for putting Greek Trinitarian meanings into the Shema…

Even the word  church [Ekklesia] means ONE  body, yet composed of many members  (I Cor. 12:12). A husband and wife are  ONE FLESH, yet two persons. Is. 44 I alone am God who else is there besides Me?

Deut. 6:4, 5 known to Jews as the Sh’ma uses BOTH Jehovah [YeHovah] and Elohim to indicate one God [AS IN “FAMILY”] with a plurality of persons.

The Sh’ma is a proof text for the Unitarians, who fixate on the statement in English  “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD”: and ignore the implications of the uniplural word Elohim.

Hear [H8085] (8798), O Israel [H3478]: The LORD [H3068 YeHovah  “I AM”] our God [H430 Elohim uniplural] [is] one [H259] LORD [H3068 YeHovah “I AM”]:

Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: The father is Lord Adonia and the son is lord Adoni that’s two lords…

With the Hebrew names: Deu 6:4  Hear, O Israel: The “I AM” our God [Elohim, uniplural as in Family], is one “I AM”: Please ask for a second opinion

Clearly meaning that the “I AM” is the Family Name of the God[Elohim] family itself !  The father is not a family he is the only Eternal being, everything else, and everyone else, were created, especially his only begotten son. The first human to receive something no other has, Eternal Life something one can’t receive if he already had it.

The term “I AM” designates one as a member of the God Family. The term I am that I am, is a statement of self existence.

BOTH the Father and the Son are a part of the “I AM”[YHVH] Family; they are BOTH GOD!  BOTH are ELOHIM!  BOTH are Self Existent Mighty Ones!  The “I AM” Family is ONE Family of [Elohim] Mighty Ones or God!  Not one scripture here to prove this 3rd century Greek multi-god extra biblical thought.

Yet the Father remained unknown until the Son came to reveal him and provide access to him! This is NOT understood by those [Jews, Unitarians, etc] who reject Christ as Creator. Opposite is true the Jews,  which Jesus being one and the Muslims, understand the meaning of the word one, as singular not the Nicean version or Bill Clinton version post 3rd century.

Comment:Hi James, I just got back from 2 weeks in Israel and I talked to many Orthodox and messianic Jews about Gen. 1:1 I also have a paper from Nehemiah Gordon and the Aleph Tav which explain the use of the singular and the plural use of Elohim. Every scholar I spoke with and Hebrew language experts all agree that Elohim in Gen. 1:1 is Singular. If you read the Chomash the Hebrew English version of the bible, you will see this pinnacle verse in the bible very clearly states the father is the only God of both old and new testament. Every COG group has it wrong and I still offer 10,000 dollars to anyone who can site a verse of Jesus saying anything before he was created.

Shining light blog is broke

 Shining Light Blog author James Malm writes below for money! I offered him money several times, would someone ask him why he doesn’t take the $10,000 reward from wwpog blog for showing a scripture in the old testament where Jesus is speaking!

PERSONAL:  I have just renewed our web hosting for another year and with paying off various bills, our financial cupboard is now bare. We are presently in need of immediate financial help.  To have a part in this work of witness and warning, please visit the Donations Page or Paypal on the sidebar. James Malm

This is why there is so much schism in the body of Christ, all these COGs and stagnation because no so-called leader of these groups dare change any paradigm  of the truth, it’s so sad but the bible says we must work out our own salvation. People don’t need to always agree on everything but to not engage in scriptural discussions on the very core issues we believe has led to stagnation.

Shining Light blog Rips UCG GCE.

Shining Light blog comment section by Tim McCauley rips into UCG GCE for being more like salesmen than fire and brimstone preachers! Do people in the greater COG need more darts and arrows? Are the brethren asleep at the wheel? Do we profane the Sabbath? Are we lukewarm? Only YOU can answer those questions as you work out your own salvation. Is shining light blog author and antaginast James Malm following the whole word of God? Is he growing in grace and knowledge? I heard a minister say that he was living in his mothers basement and was broke and was begging for money from his readers. I thought it was pretty rude of the minister to put it like his financial situation should be any sign of his success or truth! I have said and will continue to say that I like Mr Malms audacity but I only try to point out where he is guilty of the same attitude that he say’s is prevalent throughout COGs. Which is my way or the highway. In other words agree with me or be silenced. This is what a hippocrite does. When a writer can’t stand in the fire with his readers if the comments or questions are from the scriptures and they are silenced for pointing out miss interpetations of verses then they are not being honest with themselves or there readers which is the case with Mr Malm and Tim McCauley his wing man. I have error in my understanding so I continue to refine and read to grow as the spirit leads me. This is how all of us grow, individually and as we submit to Gods’ spirit. Falsely accusing each other doesn’t go well with God or his head of church son Jesus. We must be careful when judging motives of other called out ones. I am not saying you don’t stand for truth I am just saying be careful with the fathers called ones. We should be building each other up not tearing each other down as much as possible and even more as we see the day of reckoning approaching.

ANALYSIS of the GCE Conference Report by Tim:

There are very well done counterfeits and then there are poorly done fakes.  When it cones to the ministry of the UCG and what they believe (as evidenced by the summary of the GCE just passed) the most striking thing is the phoney foundation of sand on which the organizations assumptions and plans are based.  (Marr 7:24-27)

Just like Jesus Christ did when tempted by Satan (Matt 4) the only way to resist such nonsense is to know that in which you have believed and to be persuaded that God is able to give you wisdom that cannot be resisted by such rhetorical flourishes as those of the mouthpieces within the UCG ministry.  (Lu 21:14-15, II Tim 1:12).

Robin Webber says:

“They are two great concepts that bookend the gospel message the Church has been commissioned to take to the world.

These words represent a blessing that God is offering people who come to Him and humble themselves to His will. He offers grace and peace to His people in a world that is so often devoid of both.”

TIM:  God’s grace (or favor) is extended to those who repent of their sins, remain repentant, and seek to conform their lives to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Father,   (John 13:15-17).  This brings peace of mind through the holy spirit regardless of the particular circumstances in which one may find themselves.  (John 14:25-27).

The reason the world is devoid of both grace and peace is because the world has no knowledge of or desire to repent of their many sins and that is what they need to be told with specificity and in no uncertain or wishy-washy terms (Matt 3:1-2, Matt 4:17, Mark 6:7-12, Acts 2:36-38, Acts 17:22-30).

Such a message will be universally ridiculed and mocked by humanity because they have no particular interest in repenting of their sins.  (John 3:19)  The repentance that humanity needs God must grant (II Tim 2:24-26).

So why tell people what most of them do not want to hear and will not act upon?  Because one day there will be a resurrection to judgement and they will at that time have no excuse to say, “well I just didn’t know–if I had known…”

ADMIN:  I add that this is also a learning process as the teacher learns much through the teaching of God’s word and from the activities involved.

Now, try to find any of the above in the “gospel proclamation” of the UCG (or any of the other corporate COG’s)–you won’t find anything remotely like that because their “ministers” are really “salesmen”.

If your going to bring up salesmen HWA was the best we ever had! He did more sales than all the groups since his death combined! I think we should give him a posthumours sales growth award. Salesmanship is a good part of the program we must be ready to give an answer when we come across someone God is working with. Paul used master salesmenship on the Athenians! He was known for being all things to all people. So to be most effective one must be able to adjust his or her message to the audience at hand…

Revelation 17:6-18

       May 2, 2014

             Mecca that great city which you saw! taken from the complete Hebrew bible
     I saw the woman drunk from the blood of God’s people, that is from the blood of the people who testify about Yeshua And what do they testify ? There is only one name under heaven that one may be saved and that Is Christ Jesus, son of His and our God and father.Rev. 17: On seeing her I was altogether astounded. then the Angel said to me Why are you astounded? I will tell you the hidden meaning of the women and of  the beast with the seven heads and the ten horns that was carrying her. 8. the beast you saw once was, now is not will come up from the Abyss; but is on its way to destruction. the people living on the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will be astonished to see the beast that once was, now is not ,but is to appear. 9. This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven hills on which the women is sitting; also they are seven kings, 10. five have fallen one is living now and the other is yet to come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. 11.  The beast which once was and now is not, is an eight king, it comes from the seven and is on its way to destruction.12. The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yer begun to rule, but they receive power  as kings for one hour, along with the beast. They have one mind and they hand over their power and authority to the beast. They will go to war against the lamb but the lamb will defeat them, because he is Lord of lords and king of kings and those who are called, chosen faithful will over come along with him.(Jesus)
Then he said to me, the waters that you saw, where the whore is sitting are peoples, crowds, nations and languages. 16. Asfor the ten horns that you saw and the beast, they will hate the whore, bring her to ruin, leave her naked, eat her flesh and consume her with fire. (Nuclear warhead) 17. For God put it in their Hearts to do what will fulfill his purpose, that is, to be of one mind and give their kingdom to the beast until God’s words have accomplished their intent.18 And the woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.

Good Morning Vietnam!

Woke up this morning and found myself dragging by my boot straps,  it could have been the one last buffalo wing I didn’t eat, or the fact that I stopped by the Open Jam night at the Sidestreet Bar, reacquainting myself with guys I’d meet a couple of years ago, they are local musicians that I’ve had the opportunity to connect a bit with. Also a Friend came over after work for a couple of hours of jamming before all of that, so quite the day and night for getting out there and doing it. As I sit and write I look out my window and the Red River came out of its banks from all the rain we’ve had the last few days. I keep waiting for summer, but not yet, as many of you know…Then there’s that first sip of coffee that makes up for a lot.

So I ask the question, What are we going to do today to see the Kingdom of God tomorrow? That’s the question I try to ask myself every day. How is Jehovah going to use me today! Not sure, but I need to be ready to give an answer when someone ask a question. Often it’s not a direct bible verse rebuttal, but a tone of positive feedback to give the person asking the question something to ponder that might lead to a question such as, why do you think the President is being so soft on Russia, or do you think America is losing its way? We hear these things out there and they can be jumping off points to get into what God says about a nation that rejects his ways. This can be eye-opening for people, a baby step towards conversion if God is calling them and if he’s not, they will remember that what you said was truth. So we don’t know how God will direct our day ,but if we pray for him to use us some way, there is a good chance you will run into someone out there and make their day. Now that’s exciting the prospect of the father using us directly to effect someone else out there another brother or sister in Christ. Conversion is about taking steps, sometimes big sometimes small, but in the right direction, towards the kingdom of God. Have a great day and remember only you can prevent forest fires!
